Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains what ScoreTape collects and why. We keep it minimal on purpose.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — typically an email address — to issue and support your API key.
• API usage metadata— request timestamps, endpoints, and your key's hash — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We store a hash of your key, never the raw key.
• Webhook subscriptions you create — the destination URL and filters you register, plus delivery results (status codes) kept for 30 days so you can debug your receiver.
• Basic site analytics — aggregate, non-identifying traffic data.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except processors strictly needed to run the service (for example, hosting). We do not track you across other sites.

Retention

Usage metadata is retained for up to 180 days for operations, webhook delivery logs for 30 days, then removed. Contact details are kept while your key is active. You can request deletion at any time.
